We’re often asked: What are the differences between Villa 1707 and Villa 3708?
Location: Both villas are located on the seventh floor (just under the penthouse on the eighth floor). Villa 1707 is located in Phase I on the eastern wing of U-shaped Villa La Estancia. Villa 3708 is located in Phase III on the western wing of the resort. Our Villas are identical in size (2219′) and layout (see below); they are essentially book-ends within the U-shaped resort.
Views: Villa 1707 has a killer view of Land’s End and the Cabo Bay. Villa 3708 has a nice view of the Cabo Bay and does include “El Arco” area of Land’s End. Villa 3708 also has a stunning view of the town of Cabo San Lucas from the front door, which is spectacular at night.
Sunshine: Villa 3708 gets the morning sun on the balcony (and afternoon shade), which is great for coffee on the balcony especially during the winter months. In the summer, Villa 1707’s balcony is shaded in the morning but gets baked in the afternoon. Both units have plenty of air conditioning for warm days.
Privacy and noise: Both our Villas are on the seventh floor, so privacy is great (especially when compared to the lower floors and garden units). The Villas get much less noise than lower units as well. Villa 1707 backs to another resort, Villa del Palmar, which has “Fiestas” several nights each week (they usually are quiet by 9:30pm though). The noise from the Fiesta is noticeable, but certainly not overbearing. If noise is an issue though, we’d recommend Villa 3708.
Furnishings: Villa 3708 has been professionally refurnished, including stunning artwork and custom paint. Villa 1707 has been refurbished in a Tommy Bahama style.
